JeanPaul and Marieta together with their two toddlers Jerome, who is turning four in the next few days, and Valentina, who is two years and five months old, went on their dream journey during the festive season.
“We love to explore this beautiful world together as a family, we just cannot imagine our lives without a passport in hand and our children in the other,” Marieta told Lovin Malta.
“Travelling with kids, some may say impossible, we say it only takes some extra planning and lots of patience,” she added.
“This trip has been on our bucket-list for ever but seemed out of reach due to the cost and other factors. After a lot of research, telephone calls and emails we did it!” Marieta went on to describe how this adventure was special to them.
From playful penguins jumped out of the sea to vast expanses of cinematic landscapes, the family shared a number of impressive shots from their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
After seeing the wildlife on Antarctica and exploring the “truly magical place” with their children, Marieta shared how she hopes their “voyages with young children will be of inspiration and support to others and as we continue to explore our magnificent world.”
Marieta and JeanPaul have also put out the question if their children are the youngest siblings to set foot on Antartica as well if they are the youngest Maltese citizens to visit the continent.
Meanwhile, Malta Records is currently in the process of researching to see if this adventurous family has broken a record and will be announcing more information in the coming days.
