Maypole Shares The Meaning Behind The Promenade’s Father’s Day Signs

If you were walking along the Buġibba/Qawra promenade earlier this week and spotted signs celebrating dads in all shapes and forms, now we know who was behind them. Maypole has revealed that it launched the touching campaign as part of its Father’s Day initiative.
The signs, which appeared along the promenade, were placed to honour fathers, grandfathers, guardians, mentors and all those who have stepped up as father figures.
“We’re celebrating Father’s Day in a meaningful way,” Maypole said in a post on social media. “It’s our way of saying thank you to the everyday heroes who lead with love, strength, and values.”
The campaign is part of Maypole’s ongoing commitment to community and Corporate Social Responsibility, with the bakery giant wanting to remind people that fatherhood comes in many forms and every form deserves appreciation.
“Father’s Day is more than a celebration, it’s an opportunity to express gratitude,” said Maypole director Sebastian Debono.
“Through this gesture, we hope to remind everyone that fatherhood comes in many forms, and every form deserves appreciation.”
Well done goes to Maypole on this heartfelt gesture
