No Flowers Or Formal Attire: Funeral Details For New Year’s Day Murder Victim Eric Borg Announced
Eric Borg, the 27-year-old man who became Malta’s first murder victim of 2024, will be given a final farewell this Saturday in his hometown of Rabat.
Taking to Facebook this morning to announce the details, Eric’s sister said his funeral will be held at the St. Paul’s Basilica at 9am.

“We wish that flowers are not sent, but instead a donation to Puttinu Cares is made,” the statement continued, going on to say there will also be a donation box in the church next to the book where people can leave their messages.
The family also wishes for casual attire to be worn.
