‘Not All Superheroes Wear Capes’: Maltese Parents Of Child With Autism Pen Heartwarming Message For Their Doctor

The parents of Diego, a boy on the autism spectrum, shared a beautiful message for the doctor who has been helping them along their journey.

In a post on the popular Maltese Facebook Page Is-Salott, they thanked Dr. Jimmy, the “gentleman with a heart of gold”, who diagnosed Diego’s condition and provided them with all the information about how best to care for their son.

“Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear a stethoscope

Everyone, meet Dr. Jimmy – a true gentleman with a heart of gold.

He was the doctor who gave us the confirmation that Diego was on the spectrum. But his work didn’t stop there, he prepared us for what the future might hold for us and set us on the right track to get all the services Diego needed. Words aren’t enough to show how grateful we are for all his hard work.

Diego is a four-year-old child living with autism whose parents run an autism awareness Facebook page, I Am Diego, where they share details about living with an autistic child and different news related to the condition that they come across.
