‘People Like You Should Be Raped Without Mercy’: Maltese Transgender Woman Shares Hate Mail
A Maltese trans woman has shared the hate mail she has received after she was told she needs to be raped in the ass without mercy.
“What a good morning this is,” Raquel Richard said in a post. “What disgusting people, it’s better to laugh it off.”
She included screenshots of the aggressive and violent messages she received from an account under the name of Francesco Balzan.
‘Hello pufta! How do you feel if you got rape in the ass? (sic) Changing your male gender to a female gender, what is the difference or gain have you achieved so far? You do it for people to admire your (female body) or look sexy? Unfortunately you might change yourself to a female gender but you still have a dick that makes you a man no matter who you are.”
People quickly jumped to her support, with many telling her to report the messages as a hate crime.
However Raquel said that she only wanted to share the messages to show “that there is still hatred around.”
“These kind of messages do not get under my skin anymore, in fact I was going to use nude lipstick this morning but I chose to go more sparkling red,” she ended.
This is not the first time Raquel has reported cases of hate speech in her life. She had been involved in another transphobic incident while attempting to buy some pastizzi earlier this year.
