The ‘Benna Guy’ Is Back, And Has More Shocking Life Lessons For Everyone

Not much time has passed since the great Benna debacle of 2017, but Malta’s very own local milk advocate, George Ebejer, has returned with more advice for his fellow Maltese.
Last time, he was tired of hearing people complain about the new Benna plastic caps.
This time, he is coming for the people complaining about their flavoured milk.
Specifically, how scarce Benna’s flavoured milk is in some Maltese grocery stores, and what we can do to overcome this national problem.
He starts by explaining market forces, how the expansion of a product line may result in some products becoming more or less available locally.
But he then goes on to propose a unique solution: make your own flavoured milk, right in the comfort of your own home.
You too can be a DIY Louis Pasteur, if you really believe in yourself
What’s important though is, you use Maltese products at all times.
1. Make coconut milk
Many people in Malta believe that coconut milk is a bit of a special milk, imported from tropical islands in the Caribbean/South Asian seas.
But no-one’s fooling George, whose figured out the secret to the fresh, instant, tasty af coconut milk, in three easy steps.
First, get a Lamb brand pack of coconut flakes (George will only accept Lamb brand).
Mix that shit in with some Benna milk.
Enjoy some fresh coconut milk ta’ Malta.
2. Make strawberry milk
Making strawberry milk is even easier. All you have to do is, grab a bottle of (preferably Maltese) strawberry mix, and add a bit of Benna’s nutritious, delicious, indigenous milk.
3. Make (strawberry) yoghurt milk
The third recipe is the most complicated, but also the most rewarding.
George is getting molecular on this one, explaining how to create yoghurt milk, the perfect milk type for your morning breakfast.
It goes great with (Maltese) muesli.
First, you get some Maltese brand yoghurt. Clearly, George loves him some strawberry flavour, because he chose strawberry yoghurt as his base even though he literally just made a strawberry drink.
For good measure, add more strawberry. Shout out Foster Clarks.
Add some milk – but make sure it’s Benna milk. You shouldn’t even entertain the idea of any other milk brand being used.
Shake it up like your name is George and you just really, really like Benna’s products.
