Tributes Pour In For Late Artist Mark Mallia
Tributes are pouring in for Mark Mallia, after the renowned artist passed away today at the age of 59.
From family members and fellow artists to politicians and activists, several people shared their memories of the artist and expressed their shock at his sudden passing.
Prime Minister Robert Abela said that Malta has lost a “unique artist” while Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said his art will live on and inspire other artists.
Mark, known for his abstract and portrait paintings, was hospitalised recently after an artery in his brain burst. He was placed on life support but unfortunately passed away.
Lovin Malta extends its deepest condolences to Mark’s family and loved ones.
