Unexpected Help: Two-Year-Old Maltese Girl ‘Assists’ In Delivering Her Baby Sister
A Maltese father just gave his two-year-old daughter the experience of a lifetime after he had her take part in the birth of their family’s newest addition.
“I want to share this experience which for me is new and I feel that it’s something that is psychologically strengthening,” John Busuttil, the Maltese television personality, said of the experience his son Damien had just gone through.
“My son just had a daughter, Emma, in Japan. His two-year-old daughter, Anna, was allowed in while the mother was giving birth to her sister. She saw the entire birth and I feel that this experience, even if she doesn’t end up remembering it when she grows up, will surely remain recorded in her mind that her sister is a part of her mother as well. A thought to ruminate on and study in depth,” he said.
John Busuttil also excitedly posted that he had now become the nannu of “eight princesses”
Damian Busuttil and his wife Madoka, who live in Japan, entered a hospital in Sapporo, Japan hours ago to give birth to baby Emma.
Everything was going as planned for a safe and speedy pregnancy, when a unique opportunity presented itself: the parents could allow their two-year-old daughter Anna to be in the room and ‘assist’ with delivering her little baby sister.
The Maltese father and his Japanese wife took the opportunity, and Anna was given an experience that she would remember for a lifetime.
