Former Amici star and dancer Michele Nocca and Maltese hair stylist and make-up artist John Azzopardi tied the knot on Friday evening in a fabulous and emotional ceremony.
Dressed in beautifully unique and original outfits designed in Italy and handmade in Pakistan, the two quickly made each other, and everyone in attendance, cry with their touching vows.
Michele described John as a “gift sent from heaven”, while John returned the favour by saying his new lover is absolutely maddeningly perfect”.
TV presenter Angie Laus officiated the marriage and delivered a powerful closing message about how love always wins, right after pronouncing the two husband and husband.
The wedding also happened to be held on the first day of Malta Pride Week, which celebrates the LGBT+ community.
