Local reality TV star and X Factor host Ben Camille has shared a video of his “favourite local singer to hit the X Factor Malta stage” and it is guaranteed to surprise and warm your heart during these uncertain times.
Meet Jack, who is possibly Malta’s youngest X Factor star and is on the spectrum of autism.
At the tender age of 5, he got to live out his dreams of performing on the X Factor stage. Belting out every word of Queen’s “I Want To Break Free”, Jack impressed friends, family and fans at home with his ability to put on a show on that daunting stage, without missing a single beat, all while busting out some awesome moves.
At first, it looks as if stage fright got the best of him, but we’re soon proven wrong. According to his parents who were seated in the audience, the performance was impressively unrehearsed and impromptu. What’s even more surprising, however, is Jack’s ability not to miss a cue or word, which makes sense considering this little kid has been reading since his first birthday.
The video ends with a heartfelt reminder, “what makes you different, makes you beautiful”. We couldn’t agree more.
