Watch: Bloody Axes And Priceless Relics! Gianni Zammit’s Insane KISS Guitar Collection Shines In New Series All About Malta’s Collectors

Do you love collecting unique items and have a particular passion some may deem an obsession? Well, a new Maltese series which just debuted last night might be the thing you’re looking for… and it’s all kicked off with one of the most popular collectors on the island!
Beloved personality, radio DJ and musician Gianni Zammit needs no introduction for a lot of people, but for those who don’t know him well enough, his personal collection might need a bit more of a spotlight. That’s where Everhouse comes in.
Established as a channel highlighting some of Malta’s most beautiful homes and spaces but evolving well beyond our shores, Everhouse has already made a name for itself with over 100,000 subscribers, more than 100 videos and upwards of six million total views. Now, its next endeavour focuses instead on specific people… and their most prized possessions.
And once their latest episode kicks off, you can see why Gianni serves as the perfect first personality for the series COLLECTING.
From extremely unique guitars, stage-played (and smashed) instruments, autographed relics, one-of-one collectible and even a “monster” 25-kilo photo book, Gianni has it all… and according to him, it’s because he was a “super super sucker” to the super commercial machine that is KISS.
Opening up about how his passion started from vinyl covers he’d seen when was just 12 to eventually meeting the band members themselves, Gianni couldn’t help but smile as he recounted it all, admitting that “once you start meeting them, you go crazy”.
Sitting as the crown jewels of Gianni’s collection are what he calls “The Sisters”, two #1s of the 1959 Gibson Les Paul re-issues, both owned and played by lead KISS man Ace Frehley.
“Those are my hip replacements, if I ever need,” Gianni joked, talking about his guitar collection as in investment. “There’s that 1% which is an investment,” he added.
But while Gianni himself is a guitarist and a singer, that doesn’t stop him from fawning over (and collecting) KISS’ bass and drum memorabilia too… including a cymbal he uses as a lamp. “I know I shouldn’t, but it’s too cool,” he laughed.
There’s also some unique items in Gianni’s collection that merge both KISS and his own life, such as a guitar with a Maltese flag spray painted by the same person who sprayed the band’s guitar (with the same red, wink wink).
“This collectible bug is a virus, not just a bug,” Gianni continued, going on to show even unique Foo Fighters memorabilia, such as a guitar signed by all the members.
“I will sell a few to buy even more unique pieces,” he finished. “One day, not today.”
Send this to someone who’d love to check out this unique Maltese collection!
