Donna Attard and Marco Vella wanted a wedding for the ages, a very unique celebration of love that has quite possibly never been seen in Malta.
So Donna and Marco decided to treat their guests to a circus-themed wedding reception, and they certainly pulled out all the stops…
It started with the wedding invitation, which tantalised guests with an image of a circus tent and a ‘LetTheShowBegin’ hashtag.
And what a show it was…
From stilt walkers, hula hoopers, fire breathers and trapeze artists to candy floss, popcorn and pizza stations and a bouncy castle that seemed to go down a treat, Chateau Buskett was turned into a circus for the night, with renowned singer Gianni Zammit providing extra entertainment.

Renzo Attard, the proud father of the bride, told Lovin Malta that the circus-themed wedding was all his daughter’s idea.
“She loves to organise these kinds of parties and wanted her wedding to be unique,” he said. “It was a very happy and joyful wedding and everyone told us what fun it was.”
