In a heartbreaking yet beautiful moment, Jan Pace’s funeral ended with the sound of his own voice playing outside the church, a final tribute to a life cut short.

As his coffin was carried out of the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Naxxar, My World by Carlo Gerada featuring Jan Cortez (Jan’s stage name from over a decade ago) echoed through the square. Mourners stood in silence, many visibly emotional, before breaking into a round of applause.
