A recently released Danish documentary that was investigating John Dalli also featured an interview with slain journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
In The Great European Cigarette Mystery, two journalists try to investigate disgraced former EU Commissioner of Health John Dalli in the middle of his Big Tobacco scandal.
While in Malta, they speak to Caruana Galizia in the kitchen of her Bidnija home, where she gives them some detailed information regarding John Dalli, his background, and his infamous trip to the Bahamas.
The clip above is an excerpt from the film that was given to Lovin Malta for use.
The Great European Cigarette Mystery was directed by Mads Brügger & Jeppe Rønde, and produced by Sara Stockmann in collaboration with Bjarte Mørner Tveit. It was produced by Sonntag Pictures Aps and Piraya Film for BBC.
