Watch: Maltese Magician Shows Off Impressive Rubik’s Cube Trick At Global Magic Convention
Maltese magician Gwilym Bugeja got to show off his tricks at one of the largest magic platforms in the world – the Blackpool Magic Convention.
Gwilym has already made quite a name for himself in Malta through his comedy magic act OMG Magic and performance on Malta’s Got Talent. However, with an audience of experienced and aspiring magicians watching his every move, there was no room for error in Blackpool.
In his eight-minute set, Gwilym showed off his sleight of hand using a Rubik’s cube, Monopoly money and video game cards, getting the audience involved and injecting a few doses of humour.
In the above clip, which won him a loud round of applause, he gets an audience member to mix up a Rubik’s cube and sees whether the colours match the cube on his desk.
Gwilym has attended the Blackpool Magic Convention as a guest for the past 11 years but the February event was his first time performing there.
Speaking to Lovin Malta, he said it was “an honour and a privilege” that he was invited to perform.
