The Malta Young Sailors Club took to social media to express its pride in the club’s coach, writing, “We are extremely proud of our Club coach Manuel Hormiga who successfully completed a full marathon on stilts!”
“In his words: If you can dream it, you can achieve it!” they added.
The full marathon covers a distance of 42.2 kilometres, starting from St Paul’s Bay, taking runners along the stunning Maltese coastline and culminating at the historic Fort St Angelo in Birgu.
