Watch: Moira Stafrace Opens Up About Losing Both Her Parents And Chris In A Single Year
Singer Moira Stafrace has praised Hospice Malta for the help it offered her after she lost both her parents, as well as her husband Chris Scicluna, in the span of a single year.
“The worst time of my life was when I had lost both my parents and I had to return home after quarantine,” she said.
“I was grieving but I had to take care of Chris, who was suffering from cancer. Those were extremely difficult moments of my life and Chris himself used to tell me to give him some attention, poor guy.”
”I’m a human like everyone else and Hospice really helped out.”

Moira and Chris represented Malta at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘More Than Love’, which they performed for the last time this year for a Eurovision legends’ show.
Chris passed away at the age of 62 this year after a long battle with cancer.
Moira recorded her message for Hospice Malta ahead of a telethon the NGO will hold next Sunday across all Maltese TV stations to raise funds for the St Michael Hospice complex for palliative care services.
