Watch: Thousands Participate In Puttinu Cares Good Friday Walk

In the early hours of Good Friday, thousands of people gathered in Mellieħa to walk 20 kilometres across Malta participating in Puttinu Cares Good Friday Walk.

This year was the 19th edition of the walk and participants walked, jogged, cycled and one brave individual carried a wooden cross all the way to Floriana.

The walk kicked off the Good Friday fundraising events for Puttinu Cares as this morning a marathon started at 9.15am and will end at the stroke of midnight.

The marathon is airing on all local television and has already raised €810,681 so far.
