Watch: Tony Farrugia Carries Wooden Cross During Puttinu Good Friday Night Walk

Tony Farrugia’s symbolic gesture caught everyone’s attention yesterday as he carried a wooden cross from Mellieħa to Floriana during the Puttinu Good Friday Night Walk.

This annual pilgrimage of compassion and solidarity has, over the years, grown into a much-anticipated event, bringing together hearts and steps in support of Puttinu Cares, a symbol of hope and positivity for families facing the daunting challenges of cancer.

Tony took on the challenge of carrying this cross during the walk, despite it being his first time participating.

Farrugia reached the finish line at the Granaries in Floriana, with his gesture becoming one of the most talked-about actions in the early hours of the morning.
