‘We Need More People Like You’: Chef Daniel Shouts Out Woman Who Ordered Delivery For Two Homeless Men
One of Malta’s most popular restaurateurs was visibly moved yesterday afternoon when he received an order which was placed for two homeless men.
“Adrianna S, I don’t know who you are, but I’m really proud of you. We need more people like you. And yes, your request was granted, and more,” Daniel Borg Cardona wrote on an Instagram post, sharing the wholesome request.
Cardona, who runs a number of restaurants and eateries in the capital, took to social media yesterday to share a photo of one of the orders received just after 1pm.
The order, which included two cheese burgers and drinks, was by a certain Adrianna S, who explained in an accompanying note that “this food is for two homeless guys outside the fountain in Valletta”, and not for herself.
“Can you please, if possible, maybe give them an extra wrap or something?” the woman asked

The post quickly racked up hundreds of likes, as many came to applaud not only Adrianna’s selfless order, but also Daniel’s lack of hesitation in adding a little bit of love and food to her awesome gesture.
“This is the kind of positivity I dream when I think about how good humans can be. More power to you Adrianna,” an Instagram user commented.
