Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg In Attendance At Donald Trump’s Inauguration
Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ian Borg, arrived in Washington DC to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.
With less than 12 hours left until Donald Trump officially becomes the 47th United States president, people are already arriving at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C. where the long-awaited occasion is set to be held.
On his Instagram stories, Borg shared pictures from outside the Capitol during the late evening. In the following slide, Borg also took a photo with Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, mirroring ones he had the opportunity to take with Trump himself in the past.
Some of the nation’s wealthiest people and known supporters of Trump are also set to be in attendance, like Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and of course, Elon Musk.
On the political spectrum, world leaders like China’s vice president, Han Zheng is attending on behalf of Xi Jinping, the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni as well as presidential predecessors like Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
