The Chilean community of Malta is showing solidarity with the people protesting in Chile at the moment and will gather tonight at 5pm in Valletta to march alongside them in spirit.
National protests have spread across the cities of the South American country as the people show discontent against the politics of current president, Sebastián Piñera.

Since October 6th, the people of Chile have taken to the streets in protest against military corruption, privatisation of pensions and many other issues currently affecting the country as social divisions continue to widen.

The Chilean community would like to express their solidarity with the people of Chile who are demanding the dismissal of their president and a timely change in the country’s constitution.
