UK Sanctions Two Israeli Far-Right Ministers Over Gaza Comments

The UK has sanctioned two Israeli far-right ministers over comments on Gaza that “incited extremist violence”.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir will face a travel ban and have their assets frozen following measures announced by the UK foreign secretary.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the high-ranking Israeli officials “incited extremist violence and serious abuses of Palestinian human rights”.
Israel responded saying “It’s outrageous that elected representatives and members of the government are subjected to these kind of measures.”
