18 Months On: Activists Hold Up Daphne Caruana Galizia’s Portrait Outside Of Castille
Activists held up portraits of assassinated journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia outside of Castille during a vigil marking 18 months since her murder.
The monthly vigils continue for the masterminds behind the car bomb that killed Caruana Galizia on 16th October 2017 to be brought to justice.
Since her assassination, three suspects have been arrested but there is yet to be a formal trial with the compilation of evidence still underway.
Last month, the European Parliament passed a resolution calling for an international independent inquiry into her death should the government fail to initiate one themselves.
