Adrian Delia Reflects On PN Leadership And Says Members Will Decide Party’s Future

Former PN leader Adrian Delia has thanked supporters for their well wishes as he recovers at home while addressing speculation over whether he will contest the Nationalist Party leadership.
In a statement shared today, Delia said he was deeply grateful for the thousands of messages and calls he has received, adding that he is on the road to recovery.
Delia acknowledged the renewed energy and passion many supporters are showing for a stronger PN but said any decision about leadership requires reflection, time and space.
He said he believes in a new kind of politics that is rooted in unity, mutual respect and collaboration, free from personal attacks and focused on working together for one goal: one country, one people, one nation.
Delia emphasised that leading a party demands personal, professional and family sacrifice, something he experienced first-hand during his time at the helm.
He also addressed ongoing speculation, stressing that decisions about the future of the party are not about deals or arrangements but about listening to PN members who he said are the only voice that matters.
Delia said the party does not belong to any one person. It belongs to the PN members. Their choice is the only one that counts and their decision deserves respect ending his statement with the words: “That is what our party deserves. That is what our country deserves.”
