Adrian Delia’s Driver Sends Expletive-Filled Text To Councillor Calling For Confidence Vote: ‘People Like You Should Be Wiped Off The Face Of The Earth’
The driver of Adrian Delia has sent an expletive-filled message to the councillors who submitted the petition calling for a confidence vote in the PN Leader.
“Do you know what the PN needs,” George Mallia wrote. “People like you to be wiped off the face of the earth. And go and fuck the lid of your own coffin.”
Mallia was replying to a message sent by one of the councillors backing the petition.
Lovin Malta contacted Mallia over the message and to confirm its authenticity.
While seemingly confirming it, Mallia was more focused on who sent the newsroom the message “so he could go and talk him [himself]?”
Tensions within the Nationalist Party are running high ever since the party’s abysmal performance in the European and Local Council elections, with some councillors growing tired of Delia’s leadership.
Rumours of in-fighting culminated in Delia calling for a confidence vote after two rival petitions over his leadership were submitted, with claims and counter-claims over irregularities in the process becoming a regular occurrence.
With the election taking place on Saturday, it remains to be seen whether Delia will weather the storm. However, indications suggest that he will continue on leading the party.
