Five Hours In And PN Leader Has Not Spoken About The Arrest Of Yorgen Fenech
It’s been five hours since Yorgen Fenech was arrested in connection with the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia and Opposition leader Adrain Delia has yet to comment.
Lovin Malta has requested a reaction from the PN leader, who is currently in Zagreb for the congress of the European People’s Party, about this major development but has yet to receive a response.
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has already spoken publicly about the case, as has former PN leader Simon Busuttil and a number of other PN politicians and activists.
Fenech, the CEO of the Tumas Group, was intercepted by the army this morning as he tried to sail his yacht out of Malta. He was later arrested on suspicion of masterminding the car bomb murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia on 16th October 2017.
