Ian Borg And Alex Agius Saliba Confirmed As Labour’s New Deputy Leaders

Ian Borg has been confirmed as the Labour Party’s Deputy Leader for Parliamentary Affairs, while Alex Agius Saliba takes the role of Deputy Leader for Party Affairs.

With his new position, Borg also assumes the title of Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister.

Although both were the sole candidates for their respective roles, voting was still required to confirm their appointments.

The results are still pending for the following positions:

Norma Saliba vs Alex Sciberras for the position of Labour Party President.

Georvin Bugeja vs John Grech for the position of International Secretary.
