Prime Minister Robert Abela has announced the theme for Malta’s 2026 Budget: “A Strong Economy, A Future for Our Children.”
The Budget is set to be presented in Parliament next Monday by Finance Minister Clyde Caruana. It will continue investing in families, workers, youth and pensioners, building on what the government says is a resilient economy that offers security and opportunity for the next generation.
“When the economy is strong, Maltese and Gozitan families benefit,” Abela said, adding that “what we have achieved together will be the foundation for future progress.”
