Watch: Alex Borg Is Sworn In As Head Of The Opposition

Opposition leader Alex Borg was sworn in by Her Excellency Miriam Spiteri Debono at the Grand Master’s palace just a few moments ago.

 

At just 30 years old, Borg now becomes the youngest ever leader of a major political party in Malta.

Borg first entered Parliament in 2022, making an immediate impact after securing over 6,000 first-count votes in his home district of Gozo – one of the highest personal mandates in recent years.
