Watch: Bernard Grech Files Motion In Parliament To Discuss The Publishing Of The Vitals Inquiry
Opposition Leader Bernard Grech has filed a motion for parliament to discuss the need for the publishing of the Vitals Inquiry.
He maintained that it’s clear from public comments that Prime Minister Robert Abela has access to the concluded inquiry and urged that sharing this with the public must be discussed.
“This is a matter of urgent public importance because the Maltese and Gozitan people have the right to know what is in the report of the magisterial inquiry into Vitals.”
He went on to censure Abela for attacking the judiciary, saying that he is undermining one of the four pillars of democracy.
Abela responded by saying that by suggesting to discuss the matter in parliament, the PN is turning the matter into a political one.
Do you think the inquiry should be released to the public?
