Watch: Ian Borg Comments Solely About Israeli Hostages When Speaking On Gaza

Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg commented on the war in Gaza by solely pointing out that there are Israeli hostages that have not yet been released.
During a Labour Party political activity yesterday, Borg touched upon a number of standout moments of tragic international news this week. He mentioned the disastrous Air India flight that crashed shortly after takeoff as well as the secondary school shooting in Austria that killed 10 people, including children.
He then lightly touched upon some ongoing global conflicts: “We cannot forget that we still have several ongoing wars and conflicts like that in the Middle East. In Gaza there remain Israeli hostages that haven’t been released”.
Borg followed this up by noting the war in Ukraine. He did not mention the rising Palestinian death toll, nor the number of times Israeli soldiers open-fired at civilians attempting to access limited food in aid centres in the past few weeks. His sole comment on Gaza was about Israeli hostages.
Borg also neglected to comment on the recent escalation in the conflict between Iran and Israel which has just entered its fourth day.
