Watch Live: Joseph Muscat Returns To Testify At PAC Hearing After Parliament’s Summer Break

Former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is back in Valletta this afternoon for another session at the Public Accounts Committee this afternoon, in what is parliament’s return from summer break.

There have been three sessions where Muscat appeared, with new information to the public being very few and far in between. But it hasn’t come without its fair share of drama, with Muscat ending a nearly-two-hour heated meeting in June with a warning that he could “take” PAC Chair Darren Carrabot “any day, anytime, anywhere”.

You can follow the whole hearing live here.

Muscat has been summoned in a probe into the ElectroGas project, fiercely denying any idea that suggests Labour conjured the €200 million gas plant contract in the hands of Electrogas, whose shareholders included Yorgen Fenech, the main suspect in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
