Watch: Robert Abela Talks About Relationship With Joseph Muscat And Asked About His Potential Return To Politics
In an interview on RTK, Prime Minister Robert Abela was interviewed by host Andrew Azzopardi where he discussed his relationship with former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and his potential return to politics.
The interview started off with Azzopardi referencing a news article about Muscat’s statement where he said he does not exclude his return to politics.

Azzopardi went on to ask Abela if Muscat had discussed this with him and the Prime Minister replied that this discussion has not yet happened.
However, Abela went on to mention he recently had an hour-long call with Michelle Muscat who is a “person you enjoy speaking to speaking to because she has particular and important subjects at heart.”
Azzopardi then asked if Abela’s relationship with Muscat has improved and the Prime Minister negated that there was any dispute between then and this was only a rumour to try and cause trouble.
“Our relationship over the years has always remained cordial where I respected him as the person who led the country from 2013 and brought about many changes in our society,” Abela said on his relationship with Muscat.
