Sarah Bajada and Cynthia Galea have opened up about their lives, their challenges and the realities of balancing family, public roles and personal wellbeing in a new interview with Lovin Malta.

Bajada, who many first knew as a TV presenter passionate about fitness and who is also the partner of PN MP Alex Borg, said her public image shifted dramatically after she spoke openly about experiencing postnatal depression during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I had Sam, I had postnatal depression and I was going through a separation as well. If you combine those elements together you have a recipe for disaster, but I tried to find out how I could use my story to try and help others,” she said.
Cynthia Galea, a lawyer and partner of PN MP Adrian Delia, described herself as “a mother, partner, daughter, lawyer, housewife – a bit of everything”. She admitted she isn’t used to being in front of a camera, but shared how political life still impacts her day-to-day.
The pair also shared lighter moments – from holidays by Lake Como and Lake Garda to the quiet of the Swiss mountains – and revealed details of their partners’ home lives that might surprise the public.
