Thousands of Labour Party supporters have taken to Castille Square in jubilation ahead of this evening’s mass meeting.

People are waving flags of Malta and the Labour Party and wearing T-shirt with slogans of the Labour Party’s various campaigns, including the ‘Malta F’ Qalbna’ one, which is being used for the 2019 MEP and local council elections.

A number of DJs are entertaining the crowds, including Corona and Federico Scavo.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will address the crowd and a number of other speakers will also take to the stage, including Frans Timmermans, the European Socialists’ Party’s ‘Spitzenkandidat’ for President of the European Commission.
