Young Labour Politicians Josianne Cutajar And Alex Agius Saliba Set To Be Elected To European Parliament
The Labour Party is set to elect two young politicians, 31-year-old Alex Agius Saliba and 28-year-old Josianne Cutajar, to the European Parliament.
Labour sources said it is 99.9% certain that Cutajar and Agius Saliba will become MEPs, where they will join incumbents Miriam Dalli and Alfred Sant. This means that Cutajar will also become the first Gozitan to represent Malta in the European Parliament.
Meanwhile, PN look set to re-elect Roberta Metsola and David Casa.
The Labour Party won the European Parliament election by a projected 51,000 votes, a record in Maltese electoral history.
