15-Year-Old Maltese Goalkeeping Prodigy Joins Spanish Top League Team

Trailblazing teenage goalkeeper Miguel Spiteri has announced his move to the youth team of Getafe CF, a well-known team in Spain’s top tournament, La Liga.

News of Spiteri’s signing came after the 15-year-old was in Madrid playing for the Malta’s National Under 17 team.

Considered by many as one of the island’s best shots at a solid national football team in the future, Spiteri has already experienced La Liga before thanks to Deportivo Leganés, where he had spent two seasons.
