Games Of The Small States Of Europe: Team Malta’s Opening Ceremony And Accommodation Details Unveiled
The Maltese Olympic Committee has shared exciting updates in the lead-up to the XIX Games of the Small States of Europe, which begins in less than a month.
The event marks one of Malta’s largest in the past two decades and has been planned to ensure exceptional technical and organisational results.
It was announced that Team Malta will not be staying with other international delegations. Instead, they will reside at the Urban Valley Resort and Spa to maintain a focused environment for optimal performance in their competitions.
The Opening Ceremony for the Games will take place on 29th May at 8:45pm at the Granaries in Floriana, showcasing the beauty and hospitality Malta is known for, with athletes in the spotlight.
MOC President Julian Pace Bonello expressed gratitude to the media for supporting the Games and highlighted the significance of this event for Malta, which provides an opportunity for international guests to experience Maltese hospitality and unite communities. Minister Clifton Grima also spoke about the enthusiasm among athletes and the Organising Committee in anticipation of the games.
The XIX Games of the Small States of Europe will be sponsored by various well-known local organisations such as BOV, Enemed, Transport Malta, Malta International Airport and many others.
