Gżira United Heads To Austria For Europa Conference League Qualifier
Gżira United will be playing their third qualifying round match for the Europa Conference League tonight, so don’t forget to tune in to TVM News+ at 7:30pm for this highly anticipated game.
This is the first leg of the qualifier and they will be playing at the Wörthersee Stadium against Wolfsberg, an Austrian team.
The teams will then face off again for the second leg in Malta on Tuesday 9th August.
This year, Maltese teams have made the island proud in the Europa Conference League. Both Hibernians and Ħamrun Spartans have also made it to the third round of this major tournament.
For their next qualifying rounds, Hibernians will be playing against RFS (Latvia), while Ħamrun Spartans will be facing off with Levski Sofia (Bulgaria).
