Attention football fans! Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio will be visiting Malta this October, in a series of events organised by the country’s Juventus supporters club.

Currently plying his trade with Zenit St Petersburg in Russia, the current Italian national team player will be the first active footballer to visit the club in recent years.

Beyond visits across the island, supporters will also get the change to meet ‘il principino’, take photos, and even grab a signature during an event held at a hotel in Sliema.

This event will be open to all, including those who are not members of the club. Prices for the activity are €75 for club members, and €90 for non-members.

A product of Juventus’ academy, Marchisio spent 11 years with the first-team winning an impressive seven Serie A titles and four Coppa Italias.

With the Malta Tourism Authority recently launching an official partnership with Manchester United, maybe the legend’s visit will finally put a smile on Juventin faces.
