Love On The Run: 120+ Join Valentine’s Event With Sunday Run Club Malta
Sunday Run Club Malta kicked off its first-ever Valentine’s Evening Run with over 120 runners along the Sliema promenade, bringing everyone together for a fun and meaningful evening.
The event wasn’t just about running—it was about connecting with others, staying active and promoting well-being.
Runners participated solo, with a partner, or with friends, all sharing the experience in a supportive, upbeat atmosphere.
After the run, people gathered for mocktails and light snacks, creating a great chance to chat and make new friends. Everyone received a flower at the end to celebrate Valentine’s.
The run also supported Richmond Foundation, with participants encouraged to donate to the cause while attending for free.
“Running is more than just a sport—it’s a way to build community, support one another, and promote mental and physical well-being,” said Matthias Bugeja, founder of Sunday Run Club Malta.
“This event was proof of that, and we’re thrilled to see so many people come together to celebrate movement, connection and love,” Bugeja told Lovin Malta.
Founded by Matthias Bugeja, Sunday Run Club Malta has grown quickly since its first run in November 2024.
Now with over 300 members, the club continues to organise runs and support Richmond Foundation, encouraging fitness and giving back to the community.
