Despite facing a persistent Andorran attack, Malta managed to maintain control and secure all three vital points.
This victory propels Malta to three points in the group, though Cyprus still lead the pack with a perfect record after a 2-1 win over Georgia.
Looking ahead, Malta now turns its focus to April’s double-header against Georgia, where they will aim to build on this hard-earned win.
However, the squad will be without defender Charlene Zammit for at least the first match due to suspension following her second yellow card.
Well done team!
