Malta’s Women’s Cricket Team Beat Romania In Three Separate Games
Malta’s women’s cricket team has beaten the Romania international women’s cricket team in their first-ever match representing Malta in the Women’s Continental Cup.
In the team’s first-ever international game, Malta’s women’s team did not just beat opponents once, nor twice, but three times!
The team travelled to Romania to play three international games, as recognised by the International Cricket Council.
Andreea-Costinela Vasilescu led Romania, while Shamla Cholasseri captained Malta in the T20I series.
Malta successfully managed to beat Romania in all three games that took place, making it a great achievement for the Maltese team.
All of the matches were played at the Moara Vlasiei Ground in Ilfov County.
Romania Cricket decided to host the Women’s Continental Cup after successfully hosting the Men’s Continental Cup in 2021.
Well done team Malta!
