Maltese Crossfit Icon Wins Big At Official Arnold Schwarzenegger Fitness Games
Maltese CrossFit beast Jessica Borg Ghigo has outdone herself once again, this time securing a win at the official Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival held in Birmingham.
The 38-year-old mother of two and vegan Borg Ghigo has been turning heads over the last few months, with another division win secured earlier this month in Madrid.
“Basically this event was part of the Arnold Sports Festival held in the UK, which consisted of a lot of activities such as the Arnold fitness games, bodybuilding, callisthenics, strongman, and powerlifting among other sports,” Borg Ghigo explained.
“We had four workouts to do in one day which tested a lot of aspects of fitness such as weightlifting, gymnastics and endurance,” she said.
“I managed to have three event wins and a second place. An online qualifier took place earlier in the year where 14 females in my category took part in the finals which took place on Saturday 24th September in NEC Birmingham.”
The Arnold Sports Festival is the largest multi-sports festival across the world and is currently situated across multiple continents, which was originally founded in 1989 by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer.
