Maltese Judo Prodigy To Compete In Paris 2024 Olympics
Just today, the Maltese Olympic Committee announced the official recruitment of young judo prodigy, Judoka Katryna Esposito, as part of the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games, starting this July.
Esposito was selected by the Maltese Olympic Committee based on her technical proficiency and determination for the sport, as she has previously proven herself in other local and international tournaments such as the Commonwealth Games and GSSE 2023.
“I am humbled with the honor and privilege to be part of team Malta for the Paris Olympics 2024,” Katryna wrote on social media.
“A lot has gone into this, however, a lot more is still to be done. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and hope to give my utmost for Malta.”
She will be competing in the judo event under the -48kg category.
