Neil Agius’s Latest Gozo Swim Will Be A Live Experiment

Endurance athlete Neil Agius will swim around Gozo every day for seven consecutive days to find out what happens when humans push past what we believe is normal.
Unlike previous swims, this one is intentionally designed to understand what happens when we deliberately take ourselves to our limits and how we can recover, reset, and show up again the next day.

A dedicated team of medics will carefully observe Agius throughout the challenge, conducting daily evaluations to monitor his physical health, mental well-being, and recovery from the intense demands of this endeavour.
“Throughout the swims, I’ll be putting the Ocean Mindset, a curated roadmap of tools to the ultimate test to find out – do carefully curated breathwork sequences change the trajectory of our day? And ultimately, does the Ocean Mindset work?”
“And how can we adapt it to anyone and everyone for when they need it, no matter where they are?”
This swim will be a live experiment to explore what happens when he deliberately pushes his body and mind to exhaustion, and how recovery and resilience come into play.
