Over 4,000 Take On Malta’s Scenic La Valette Marathon
The La Valette Marathon returned for its fourth edition and was nothing short of a success!
From the coastal views of Xemxija to the historic backdrop of Vittoriosa, thousands of runners experienced either 42km or 21km of scenic beauty and 7,000 years of Maltese history.

The event, organised by Corsa, attracted over 4,000 participants and featured a range of races — including a full marathon (42km), half marathon (21km), walkathon, 10km and 5km runs, and even a 1km kids’ fun run.
Kigen Cosmos claimed first place in the men’s full marathon, while Githaiga Nancy Waigumo topped the women’s category.
