Held at the Malta Film Studios in Kalkara, the high-energy martial arts event brought together over 900 athletes from 21 countries across Europe, competing in 267 weight categories across multiple disciplines including Kickboxing, Muay Thai, K-1, Kata, and more.

The championships officially opened on 9th April with an evening ceremony attended by Education and Sports Minister Clifton Grima, before three full days of competition.

Team Malta rose to the occasion, delivering its strongest-ever performance on home turf.

The Maltese athletes placed 5th overall, out of 21 competing nations, and brought home a total of 60 medals.
