Two Trophies In Two Internationals: Maltese Golfer Laurens Schulze Doering Is Tearing It Up Abroad

One Maltese golfer has been tearing it up abroad, winning two out of two championships at International level.
At 19-years of age, Laurens Schulze Doering, is currently on a scholarship in the USA but his career as a golfer is in a fine vein of form. In a span of three weeks, he placed first at the Cyprus Amateur Golf Open and the Croatian Amateur Golf Open.
Laurens competed in Cyprus in May. There, he shot scores of 72, 68, and 73 to finish with an aggregate score of level par. He won by a margin of seven shots.
He later competed in Croatia between the 9th and 12th June. There, he shot scores of 71, 74, 71, and 71, which put him in a playoff against Czech golfer Jan Sustek.
Two playoff holes later, Laurens walked away with a second international trophy, elevating his global ranking to an all-time high.
All eyes now remain on the young golfer as he looks to narrow his gap to a greater international ranking with more challenges down the line.
